"In many ways, this show is several years in the making. We've always wanted to do a show where we can really feature the talented country artists in the Kansas City area, without sticking them in front of a touring Nashville act. We're very proud of this event, and we're overjoyed that our friends get to perform for you the way you deserve to hear them!" - RHINO

Tate Stevens

Tate Stevens has captured America's hearts by doing the one thing he does best: being himself. With his powerful vocals, compelling life story and irresistible personality, Tate has won Fox's X Factor and scored a Top 5 album. He's also found success when his song "Holler If You're With Me," which debuted during a Pepsi commercial that aired during the Grammys, was chosen to be featured during the Southeastern Conference basketball tournament.

"Music drives me," he says. "It is really deep down in my soul. That is who I am, the music," he says. "I love performing for people because music makes people feel good. I love it when people say, ‘That song spoke to me.'"

"I think people see that there's a realness there," he says. "I don't know too many guys that get manicures or shave their chests. I don't think the majority of people wear fancy clothes. I am the guy next door; everybody knows me. I am your neighbor, the guy who lives down the street."

Tate became a seemingly overnight sensation when he won Fox's X Factor in 2012. "I think it was because I am a real person," he says of his win. "I believe that country music fans are the most loyal and giving and they are the ones who pulled me through that show. "As Simon Cowell said, when "you hear how good his voice is and his story, you could not NOT root for him. I think America got it right."

After his victory, Tate quickly released his self-titled first album, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Music critic Chuck Dauphin says, "What really sets Stevens apart is his way with a ballad. … He demonstrates a depth that brings to mind artists such as one of his biggest influences, Garth Brooks. Tate Stevens shows on his debut album that he's got the talent to be a long-term voice in this business."

His second album, which was also produced by Blake Chancey, takes his music to the next level in every area, from the songwriting and song selection to the vocal performance and production. He has captured a fresh sound that fits comfortably with today's chart-topping hits, but features a strong foundation of substance and timeless messages. With the life he's led, it would be impossible to create music devoid of meaning or real emotion.

Big Time Grain Co.

A note from the brothers:

Since as early as we can remember, guitars, banjo, mandolins, fiddles and more have been part of our lives. Every holiday meal was followed by a hoedown style jam session. We were so fortunate to grow up on a farm with parents that taught us about solid work ethic and taking care of what needed taken care of. More than that, our inventor dad modeled creativity and always using that creativity to find a bigger, better way.

With dad’s invention of the Bourquin Weedpuller, we went from hoeing weeds in bean fields to traveling all over the U.S. in a motor home while dad would demonstrate that machine. We had new friends to play with, new territories to explore and new lakes to fish every week. However, we only had three 8 tracks that were never ending, but were some of the first influences we had. The big one that got worn out the most was John Denver. Dad loves John Denver.

We both got serious about our instruments around mid/high school. Bret the bass and Chad the guitar. Ever since that day, we have gotten to play together thru church, acoustic shows and a rock band called LipRiddle, but nothing has ever felt like home quite like it has when we started playing together in Big Time Grain Company. Our influences, tastes and experiences have all led to this moment at exactly the right time.

There is something magical that happens when brother’s get together and create music. We are constantly writing, recording, rehearsing and doing it bigger and better just like our dad modeled. We are completely grateful for all this project has brought to our lives. We are also thankful for the many friends and fans walking along side us in our Big Time.

Craig Sheller

Craig Sheller was born and raised in Kansas City where his love for music started at a very young age. Craig has had many opportunities to open for multiple acts Including Ricochet, Restless Heart, Craig Morgan and Stoney Larue.

Craig also released his first single titled “I Found You” in September of 2019 and Released His Self Titled EP in April of 2020 featuring his newest Single "Stranded"!!

Cody Vanderau

Cody Vanderau is a Lathrop native and a 2016 Lathrop High School graduate. Cody has always had a passion for music and performance. Some of his influences come from music he was raised on. Classics such as Haggard, Cash, and Keith Whitley to name a few. You can hear the Texas music influence in covers of Aaron Watson and Cody Johnson tunes. He has a passion for the Outlaw Country sound covering Cody Jinks and Tyler Childers hits. Cody and his band are always working on new songs and even writing some of their own.

Cody is self taught and picked up the guitar for first time at age 17, but has worked and played with several musicians. He met Tim Rose, who became his biggest influence and fellow band member. Together, they have built an energetic and entertaining band. The crew is super excited about the recent addition of Clayton and his fiddle playing. They have already shared the stage with big name acts such as Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders, Mo Pitney, and Country Music Hall of Fame artist Ricky Skaggs. Cody and his crew have played private parties, bar and grilles, wineries, fairs and festivals. They are excited that 2021 has brought them back out to play live in front of the crowds again.

You can expect classic favorites, some originals and a great time at Cody Vanderau Band shows. Dust off those dancing shoes and expect some toe tapping! Cody and the boys bring energy and hometown feels to the stage and are looking forward to playing for you.
